Do you ever feel alone?
Because I did, and I still sometimes do. I believe stories have the power to connect people and make us feel less alone. Whether you personally know me or are a random person from the Internet, I hope you can relate to my musings. We are all human after all.
God often uses the weak to fulfill His purpose, and I feel as though he is using me. My life has been full of ups and downs. I’ve had to overcome a lot of struggles, particularly in the past 8 years after my son was born. I’ve learned to overcome depression and value my health (mental, physical, spiritual, emotional).
I want to share my journey of personal growth. I’ve filled my cup and am on a mission to fill others’. Hopefully my writing, conversational and witty in tone, can help comfort, or at least, somewhat entertain you. Thanks for following along!
About Me
Hello! My name is Miriam Choi Cave. That’s right. When I got married, I changed my middle name to be my maiden name. Because being Korean is a large part of my identity.
I grew up in Oxnard, CA, attended Sweet Briar College in Virginia, moved back home after graduation, and have lived in various parts of Ventura County since then. I love Ventura County!
I am married to a great guy and have the honor of being a mom to one boy (he captured the above photo, by the way).
I’m a Christian who greatly values studying the Word and maintaining my relationships.
I love reading, writing, listening to music and podcasts, hiking, traveling, checking out new restaurants, watching K-dramas (currently into Queen of Tears but also loved Crash Landing On You), pilates/yoga, and spending time with family and friends.
